An authenticity reading means reading your script with a focus on credibility, representation and respectful representation. I look at how characters, relationships and environments are portrayed, and at how the story can land in people with different experiences. The aim is to ensure that the text feels authentic and avoids unintended stereotypes.
You will receive comments directly in the script and a statement with concrete development proposals. The focus is always on uplifting the text, not on criticizing you as a writer. The idea is that you should feel more confident in your writing and be able to fully stand behind your story, knowing that you have made a conscious and respectful representation.
